Pematang Sontang – A total of approximately 15 people in the unemployed community became trainees in the life skills community partnership program (PKM) to create new entrepreneurs for motorcycle workshops for the tuna community in nagari persiapan ranah malintang of sungai aur district, West Pasaman. The participants were trained with the aim of being able to build a motorcycle repair shop business independently in the area where they lived.
This activity was carried out initially through reports from the community in sungai aur sub-district and also through observation by the PKM team of the automotive engineering department. From the reports and observational data, it was found that two main problems in this area are that there are quite a lot of unemployed, which is around 10-15% and the number of motorcycle repair shops that are still lacking or still needed.

The lack of motorcycle repair shops in this area can certainly be used as an opportunity to create new entrepreneurs. One of the business opportunities that can be utilized is the motorcycle repair shop business. This is important to implement because it is the right solution for partners. The target of the PKM team of the FT-UNP automotive engineering department is the unemployed community in nagari persiapan ranah malintang. The PKM team will provide life skills training in an effort to create a motorcycle workshop entrepreneur. This life skills training is expected to be able to have a good impact on the community.
A motorcycle repair shop is a building / room that functions to carry out maintenance, repair, maintenance, modification of tools and machines. In order for two-wheeled vehicles to always be in standard, maintenance and service and repairs are needed, so for that a motorcycle repair shop is needed. Looking at the problem of partners, this kind of situation should be taken as a place and opportunity for new entrepreneurs in the workshop business like a motorbike. If this opportunity can be realized, it will certainly reduce the unemployed people in nagari persiapan ranah malintang and at the same time will help the local government in reducing unemployment.
In the training which took place at the TSM workshop of SMK N 1 Sungai Aur , the participants were given material in the form of theory and practicum, in addition to gaining knowledge from the Instructors of the PKM team, the participants were also given motorcycle workshop equipment. The assistance was as motivation and initial capital for participants to set up their own workshops.

Pj. Wali nagari persiapan ranah malintang Mr. H. Syafrudin, SH who at that time was represented by Mr. Hardimentis Marwan, S.Pd., M.Pd.T in his remarks at the opening of the training event was grateful, grateful and welcomed the training at the TSM Workshop of SMK N 1 Sungai Aur. The training, God willing, will provide great benefits for the unemployed community and schools.
Meanwhile, the head of the PKM team of the Department of Automotive Engineering FT UNP, Dedi Setiawan, in his speech, said that the training was a community service program from UNP, where UNP hoped that the participants would later be skilled in their lives to create jobs through motorcycle workshop entrepreneurs.
The training began with a pre-test, the pre-test results showed that 100% of the participants did not understand the skills of building a motorcycle workshop entrepreneur, this is understandable because the participants had never established a motorcycle workshop, during the training participants were given a fairly high motivation from experienced instructors. The material provided was in the form of theory and practicum which included basic workshop management and workshop equipment (theory), injection motorcycle service (practicum) and disassembly of conventional motorcycle machines (practicum), Alhamdulillah, during the training participants showed quite high enthusiasm.

At the end of the training activity, the participants were given a post-test, the results were quite satisfactory, almost 90% of the participants had understood the material provided. The PKM team is willing to be contacted by the trainees if there is anything that needs to be discussed related to motorcycle workshop entrepreneurship.
