Tanah Datar – Nagari Batu Basa, Pariangan District, Tanah Datar Regency still has youth who dropped out of school and do not have a job. This is due to the economic factors of the poor and the majority of them work as farmers, resulting in poor economic conditions in the community.
On the other hand, motorbikes are already a very important necessity for the community. Almost every house has a motorbike which is usually used by the community as a means of transporting people and goods to bring agricultural products to markets and processing facilities. In an effort to help the government reduce the number of people who do not work, the Community Service Team of the Automotive Engineering Department, FT-UNP, held training on electronic fuel injection motorcycle service for young people dropping out of school.
Knowledge and skills about electronic fuel injection motorcycle service are needed by young people who drop out of school as initial capital in creating new business fields / jobs in the service sector or motorcycle repair shop business, given the large number of motorbikes in Nagari Batu Basa.
