JTO FT UNP PKM Team Holds Diesel Motor Technology Training for Teachers and Students in Agam Regency

Tanjung Raya – The Community Service Team (PKM) Department of Automotive Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University (JTO FT UNP) carries out community service activities in Agam Regency, to be precise at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. PKM is carried out by complying with health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic by always washing hands, maintaining distance and using masks. This activity was led by Toto Sugiarto, S.Pd., M.Si. with members Wawan Purwanto, S.Pd., M.T., Ph.D. and Ahmad Arif, S.Pd., M.T. who is a lecturer at the Automotive Engineering Department and a student from the Automotive Engineering Department, Dedi Mulyono. The series of PKM activities began with the manufacture of a stand and the installation of a 1-cylinder diesel engine that had been previously assembled and prepared. The entire process of making stands, assembling and installing machines was carried out at the FT UNP Automotive Engineering Workshop which took 3 days, from September 26 to 28, 2020.
 

 

The Principal of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya, represented by the Head of the Automotive Engineering Department, thanked the PKM Team of the Automotive Engineering Department, FT UNP, for the useful knowledge and experience that had been given to teachers and students of the Automotive Engineering Department. They hope that this activity can be continued every year so that it can increase the knowledge and skills (competencies) of teachers and students in the field of Diesel Motor Technology in accordance with technological developments.
