Padang – In order to guide students to become individuals who know the rules, obey the rules, are creative, innovative, and objective cooperative in building intellectual diversity, the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs organizes the 2020 Student Creativity Program (PKM). To that end, the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, The Directorate General of Higher Education has carried out an assessment of the PKM 5 Sector proposal and announced the results on August 5, 2020.
In 2020, the PKM (Student Creativity Program) proposal of Padang State University has successfully passed with funding as many as 37 proposals consisting of 32 PKM 5 Fields and 5 PKM GT / AI / GFK. For PKM 5 Sectors consist of 4 PKM-K proposals, 15 PKM-KC proposals, 3 PKM-M proposals, 8 PKM-P proposals and 2 PKM-T proposals
Of the 32 proposals that were funded, 4 were accompanying lecturers from the Automotive Engineering department and 10 students majoring in Automotive Engineering, either as leaders or team members. The titles and teams are as follows:
- PKM-KC with the title “Valve Grinding Automatic System”, chaired by Dedi Mulyono (Automotive) along with its members Yodi Agus Paratama (Automotive) and Yuvani Oksarianti (Statistics) and Assistant Lecturer Wawan Purwanto, S.Pd., M.T., Ph.D. (Automotive)
- PKM-KC with the title “Automatic Money Counting Tool in ATmega Microcontroller-Based Charity Box”, is chaired by Ilham Febriansyah (Automotive) and consists of Mia Febrianti (Physics) and Tri Yuli Pahtoni (Informatics) and Assistant Lecturer Wawan Purwanto, S.Pd., MT, Ph.D. (Automotive).
- PKM-KC with the title “Fuel Consumption Tester Based on Duration of Injection Time Based on Arduino-Uno Microcontroller on Injection Motorbikes”, chaired by Dedi Kurniawan (Automotive) and Ahmad Gunawan (Automotive), Jumandi Jamal (Electrical) and Associate Lecturer Toto Sugiarto , S.Pd., M.Si. (Automotive).
- PKM-PE with the title “Analysis of Banana Peels as Synthesis of Activated Carbon in Reducing Motor Vehicle Emission Levels”, is chaired by Ikhwan Ramanshaf (Automotive), Nadia Juliati (Chemistry) and Alim Kusuma (Automotive) and Assistant Lecturer Wawan Purwanto, S. Pd., MT, Ph.D. (Automotive).
- PKM-K with the title “Metal and Temperature Detection on Truck Tires as a Prospective Business That Can Prevent Tire Cracking Incidents”, chaired by Rizki Adrian and Rifdarmon Assistant Lecturer, S.Pd, M.Pd. T (Automotive).
- PKM-KC with the title “Arduino-Based Fuel Pump Indicator to Detect Malfunctions in the Fuel System”, is chaired by Agus Nasrianto (Automotive) and consists of Reffi Putra Yandi (Automotive), Intan Maisa Tania (Automotive) and Assistant Lecturer Irma Yulia Basri, S .Pd., M.Eng. (Automotive)
- PKM-KC with the title “Microcontroller-Based APPS (Waste Separator and Shredder) in Tackling Waste Problems”, chaired by Rizky Ananda Putra (Electrical) and consisting of Ikhwan Rahmansyaf (Automotive), Amri Ramadhan and Associate Lecturer Irma Yulia Basri, S.Pd ., M.Eng. (Automotive).
On this occasion, the head of the automotive engineering department Prof. Dr. Wakhidnuddin S., M.Pd. expressed very happy and supported this activity and gave appreciation and enthusiasm for the team of lecturers and students who passed.
