Padang – Himoto Management of the Mayana 90 Cabinet carried out the “Orphanage Visit” on December 15, 2019 for half a day starting at 09:00 – 13:30 WIB. The orphanage visited was the Nur Ilahi Orphanage, which is located at Jl. Tj. Berok Kurao Pagang, Kec. Nanggalo, Padang City with 30 children. This activity is a form of community service and social care from Himoto FT UNP to the orphanage children as the nation’s next generation who must always be cared for and assisted.
The opening of the event began with the reading of the Holy Qur’an by one of the orphanage children, then continued with the delivery of remarks by the General Chairperson of Himoto, FT UNP, Br. Gusmardiansyah and also provides enthusiasm, motivation and entertainment to all the orphanage’s children.
After the opening, the next event was to hold light games at the orphanage location with the aim of being able to entertain the orphanage’s children. The winners of each game are given prizes in the form of books and other school stationery and continue with lunch together.
At the end of the activity, the Himoto 90 Management handed over assistance in the form of cash and basic necessities to the Orphanage which was received directly by the Nur Ilahi Orphanage Manager. If judged by the amount, maybe the assistance provided is not too much, but with this all the management hopes to share their sustenance and help the orphanage’s children. This assistance fund is Himoto Cash and management fees as well as contributions from students of the Automotive Engineering Department, FT UNP, which were collected by the Himoto 90 Department of Spirituality.
This activity is one of the work programs of the Department of Spirituality Himoto 90 FT UNP and Alhamdulillah it went well. Hopefully the children of the orphanage will be helped and happy with the attendance of Pengurs Himoto 90. In the success of this event, Himoto 90 thanked ACT Padang for helping and working. Hopefully the Mayana Himoto Cabinet FT UNP will be better in the future, Aamiin.
