Padang – Upgrading of the Mayana 90 Cabinet Automotive Engineering Student Association was held on Saturday and Sunday 26-27 October 2019 at Tiger Camp Lubuk Minturun Padang which was attended by 39 administrators. The agenda during the Upgrading is in the form of formal and non-formal events. Formal events include the delivery of material on action management and trial techniques and organizational leadership and management, while the non-formal ones are the Himoto Management Makrab, Morning Gymnastics and Games and Community Service.
The opening of the Upgrading event was started by presenter Yolana Nursyafti at 17:00 – 17:10 WIB attended by the Organizational Advisory Board (DPO) Rizki Kurnia Ramadhan, Speaker Haris Naufaldi and the Daily Management Board (DPH) of the Automotive Engineering Student Association for the 2019/2020 period as well as all members of the Mayana cabinet FT UNP Himoto management. The ceremony was opened by saying “Bismillah” with the theme “Enabling Togetherness, Growing Unity to Weave One Himoto”.
Upgrading material was delivered by Haris Naufaldi from the Automotive Engineering Department with material on the implementation of trials in organizations during 17: 30-18: 30 WIB. The material presented includes (1) the definition of the trial, (2) elements of the trial, (3) the presidium of the session, (4) the participants of the trial, (5) the rules of the trial, (6) terms in the trial Hammer tap rule. After the delivery of the material, it is continued with the practice of the session leadership so that the participants can better understand the material presented.
In the evening, 19: 30-21: 00 WIB followed by the Night of Familiarity (Makrab) at the Tiger Camp location. The purpose of Makrab is to establish closeness and cooperation between the Mayana Cabinet FT UNP Himoto board. With the rainy atmosphere, the Mayana cabinet FT UNP Himoto Management Board continued to work in the tent, this is where the Mayana cabinet FT UNP Himoto Management was given the challenge to remember the names of the Mayana cabinet FT UNP Himoto administrators who participated in Upgrading activities, for administrators who were wrong or forgot in Mentioning the names of the other administrators then the participants will be punished. The Makrab event was successfully carried out smoothly and with wisdom even though it was raining outside the tent.
Morning exercise at the Tiger Camp location starts on Sunday, October 27 at 07:00 WIB carried out by all Mayana Cabinet FT UNP Himoto Administrators. This activity aims to increase enthusiasm in the morning led by Samsul Arifin and Ilham Febriansyah.
The sharing session was delivered by Rizki Kurnia Ramadhan and Agus with Moderator Ringgi Anggara. This activity was held at 09: 00-09: 40 WIB and was attended by DPH and members of the Mayana Cabinet FT UNP Himoto Management.
The material for the activity on day 2 was delivered by Anggi which started at 09: 40-10: 40 WIB with the title Leadership, Organizational Management and Work Team. The material presented includes (1) Definition of leadership, (2) Leadership objectives, (3) Function of leadership, (4) Characteristics of leaders, (5) Definition of organization, (6) Organizational functions, and (7) Tips for dividing organizational time. with lectures. After the delivery of the material, a question and answer session was continued so that the participants could better understand and understand all the material presented.
After receiving the leadership material, it was immediately practiced with one of the games of inserting nails into a bottle which required cohesiveness and cooperation between groups to put nails into the bottle. The objectives of this outbound are (1) Fostering leadership attitudes and courage in making decisions, (2) Increasing sportsmanship, (3) Increasing motivation in group collaboration, (4) Increasing the ability to communicate effectively, (5) Fostering commitment to agreed norms, (6) Fostering a competitive spirit in the context of achieving common goals, (7) Building an unyielding attitude in solving problems, (8) Training making careful planning and neat team coordination, and (9) Training the ability to take effective decisions in situations difficult.
All Management hopes that after this activity is carried out, it can improve the performance of HIMOTO FT UNP for the 2019/2020 period of the Mayana cabinet during the management period.
