Padang – To foster the motivation for the enthusiasm of learning and working in students, the Automotive Engineering Department (JTO) is determined to participate in providing solutions to human resource needs in the field of Heavy Equipment Technology that will support development progress. As a first step, the Automotive Engineering Department has collaborated with the industrial world that is committed to technological advances in the region, one of which is with PT. Semen Padang, Tbk. In line with that, to increase the role of industrial lecturers / practitioners, as a demand and preparation for study program accreditation, the Heavy Equipment Technology (TAB) course (TAB) in the July-December 2019 Semester will hold a public lecture with industry. On this occasion, the invited industrial parties were from PT. Semen Padang, Tbk. represented by Mr. Febi Rieldi, S.T. as a Maintenance Manager. This public lecture must be attended by all students who are taking MK TAB and a team of lecturers who teach the TAB MK which will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 08:30 to 12:00 WIB. During the public lecture, all students looked enthusiastic because the material provided was very interesting, new and applicable. The speaker also displays videos related to the equipment and equipment of heavy equipment at PT. Semen Padang includes work safety when equipment and heavy equipment units are on site (field).
